Hsin-Ying Tsai

I grew up in Taiwan studying visual communication design, then moved to Prague where I studied illustration and later porcelain and ceramics at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design. Going from screens to physical materials and back again changed how I think about craft in digital products.

I currently work as a product designer at Apify, where I focus on making complex tools feel simple and considered. Before that, I designed travel experiences at Kuoni Tumlare.

I picked up coding along the way, which helps me work closely with engineers and ship things with fewer gaps between what I design and what gets built.
